General information, not personal advice
The journal covers home projects, lighting, streaming, travel, sport, gadgets and healthy living. Everything published here is general information written for a broad audience. It cannot take account of your home, your health, your budget or the rules where you live.
- Home and renovation: electrical, gas, structural and plumbing work should be carried out by suitably qualified people following local regulations.
- Health: our healthy-living pieces are not medical advice. Speak to a GP, pharmacist or other qualified professional about your own situation, and seek urgent help for urgent symptoms.
- Travel: entry requirements, vaccination advice and local rules change. Check official sources before you go.
- Streaming and technology: use licensed services and follow the terms of the providers you subscribe to.
Accuracy and dates
We work hard to get things right and every article shows its publication date. Still, products, prices, services and rules move on, and an article may describe how things looked when it was written. If you notice something out of date, the Drop a Postcard page tells you how to let us know, and we will look at it.
Businesses and outside links
Some articles mention companies or link to other websites. Some were prepared together with outside businesses. A mention or link is not a guarantee, and we are not responsible for the content, products or policies of other sites. Please make your own checks before you buy, book or sign anything.
Using our words
The text and site design belong to Vanalleswa Living unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back to the original article. Please do not republish whole articles, scrape the site or present our work as your own.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on information published here. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot legally be excluded.
